We recently spent the day enjoying Atlantic City’s finest miniature golf courses, and while there are currently only two on the strip, we were not disappointed!
Our first stop came at the aptly named Atlantic City Miniature Golf, which is located right on the Boardwalk across from the Historic AC Convention Center, now called Boardwalk Hall. Given all the shore towns that we’ve been to on our mini golf adventure, it’s a real shame to see how empty the AC Boardwalk was on this picturesque day, but we loved not having a crowd as we played the course.
This course is your regular normal mini golf course. Due to its position on the Boardwalk, you aren’t going to find a tremendous amount of elevation change or complexity in the course, but it was expertly manicured and in top condition. Par was 40, and our winner came in at 38, so this isn’t the course where you are really going to test your skills, but that doesn’t mean you can’t have fun! It was relatively middle of the road when it came to price ($10/person) but were surprised there was no senior rate.
In doing our research, we found that this course is actually owned and operated by the same people who own the semi-indoor Medieval Fantasy Black Light Mini Golf in Ocean City NJ, one of the true under appreciated gems of the OC Boardwalk. We love seeing a successful small business!
