North Beach Miniature Golf is brand new as of 2022, making it only the second mini golf course in Atlantic City (the other being Atlantic City Miniature Golf) and it is looking to make a splash! The course has some fun tournaments lined up, and it is where our friends at O-Street Mini Golf had their 2022 Members Tournament, but we stopped by on our trip to AC to check it out! 

North Beach  Mini Golf is located on the far west side of Atlantic City where new boardwalk has just been constructed. This also means it is away from the casinos and most of the tourists, so you are in a pretty isolated area if you don’t want to be mobbed in the summer. The course doesn’t really have a theme (although it does have some AC themed holes in the beginning) but it is beautifully landscaped and clearly well kept. Par for the course was a 40 and one of our members finished up with a 36, so it’s not going to be the most difficult course you’ll play, but I don’t think that is what they were going for. 

Pricing is $12/adult and $10/child, which is a little high but is becoming the norm with newer and more upscale courses. They didn’t have custom scorecards, which we know is stupid, but it just makes the memory a bit more special when you know the par and where your card is from. 🙂 

One gripe that really perturbed some members of our group was the placing of the ADA cut outs in the brick. Several times they seemed to be placed right where you would normally want to bank your ball off of, or right behind the hole. At least 6 or 7 holes this was a problem on, and while it may not be a huge issue for us, it is definitely something that could really frustrate your average patron. Definitely important to have ADA accessibility, but we’ve been to enough courses where it doesn’t seem like it is a hinderance on standard play. 

Overall, we love the layout of the course and it definitely has a great view, and our party really liked being away from the downtown area. However, this still doesn’t stand out to us as a course we would have to revisit again, especially given that we don’t really enjoy the Atlantic City area, but also just compared to some of the more challenging courses in South Jersey. That being said, if you have a day for golf, start at the AC Miniature Golf, then make your way down to North Beach to cap it off!
