Just as you start on the way down to the Jersey Shore, a collection of mini golf courses await you in some smaller towns a little bit more inland. Belmar Mini Golf is a little bit more inland, but is technically part of the 9th Ave Pier, so it does have somewhat of a water view. However, it also is right next to a major street, so a little hard to enjoy the view of the boats on the river.

The course is a smaller Harris course that really feels a bit squished, although there are some more interesting holes on the back 9. There was a couple interesting water holes as well, but again, it felt confined to only a few holes, and couldn’t overcome some of the other low points.

Price has been increase to $9/person (although it says $7 on the website) and the site is cash only. If you don’t have cash, you will have to walk across the parking lot to the restaurant. The scorecard is a print out on 8.5×11 paper. The course is littered with several leaves and tree debris. There were also aluminum cups.

Overall, it wasn’t a fairly challenging course. We managed two aces and our winner had a 41. There are other courses nearby that offer more challenging and scenic views, so while this is a good stop if you are making a stop at the pier, it isn’t one we’d necessarily go out of our way to visit again.
