My name is Patrick Kavanagh, and I am the architect behind Mini Golf Matters. By day, I work at a theatre off-Broadway in marketing, but one of my favorite activities is playing miniature golf with my friends and family. I’ve been playing mini golf for as long as I can remember down at the Jersey Shore. It’s an incredibly accessible activity in terms of price, age, and difficulty, so it was a natural fit.
The idea for this website came in the late 2022 when our miniature golf exploits soared to new heights, playing upwards of 50 different courses. In the summer of 2023, we decided it was pointless if our reviews only stayed as a conversation in the car ride home, and thus Mini Golf Matters was born.
We are endeavoring to get to every outdoor miniature golf course in the state of New Jersey and review them all for you here. Along the way, we will travel to other areas of the country (and perhaps the world) in search of excellent miniature golf.
