Farmview Golf Center is definitely on our high end of driving range courses. The family-owned business includes a driving range as well, but the mini-golf is where we spent our time. While the course is mostly basic, it does offer some unique holes in a quality environment.
The course itself is well maintained, with solid turf and nice clear water. Some of their bushes are a bit overgrown and do impede play at some points, but that is our only real atmospheric criticism on this course. The course never appears to be overly crowded, which is a good thing because there isn’t a lot of space between holes. On the positive side, they do have some unique hole layouts, including multiple holes where there is more than one cup (one is usually covered by a well placed rock) so they can rotate them on occasion. The one downside to this is that it makes some of the pipe play on certain holes pointless, but it’s always good to investigate the hole before playing it! The only other downside here is the metal cups that cost us a few strokes.
While we will say the course is basic, that certainly doesn’t mean that it is easy. A majority of the holes are par 3 and play as such. Depending upon which day you are there (aka which holes are uncovered) some aces might be more likely, but we only managed two in our round. Par is a very accurate 47, and our winner came in at 45. The price is $9/person and is cash only, which feels a bit steep maybe, but certainly not ridiculous. Those wanting to spend a little bit more time here can get the second round half-off.
